The late rapper’s mother and team pieced together his posthumous Skins album, and the project was a hit among fans. As reported by Billboard, Skins has earned the number one spot on their album-fueled 200 chart.
The project is X second number one album, and it moved 132,000 equivalent album units in the week ending December 13. 52,000 of those were from pure record sales. Billboard also notes that Skins is the first posthumous number one album since
Meek Mill’s Championships dropped down to number 2 in its second week, moving 129,000 equivalent album units.
Gucci Mane earned his fifth top 10 album with Evil Genius grabbing the fifth spot. Gucci sold 51,000 equivalent album units, with 5,000 in pure sales. Travis Scott’s Astroworld is still hanging onto top ten status with the sixth spot. Trav moved 44,000 equivalent album units. Congratulations to all those artists that made the cut!
