Wendy Williams scheduled return back to daytime tv with her hit talk show “The Wendy Willams” show isn’t happening.
Wendy’s team posted a personal statement to her Facebook page saying she’s now experiencing complications from her Graves’ Disease. She’ll require hospitalization and treatment, and there was no date stated about her return.
“As Wendy Williams Hunter previously shared, she fractured her shoulder and has been on the mend. Over the past few days, Wendy has experienced complications regarding her Graves’ Disease that will require treatment. Wendy will be under the strict supervision of her physicians, and as part of her care, there will be significant time spent in the hospital.”
“Despite her strong desire to return, she is taking a necessary, extended break from her show to focus on her personal and physical well-being.”
The statement goes on to say reruns will air starting Monday, then another slate of guest hosts in new shows the following week.
Rumors of her husband Kevin Hunter knocking up his alleged mistress if years (again), and a rumored divorce may have something to do with her health issues.
