Cardi B Might As Well Performed At The Super Bowl LIII ! She Has “Mixed” Feelings Over Turning Gig Down!

Cardi B Admits She Had "Mixed Feelings" About Turning Down Super Bowl LIII Gig
Cardi B

Cardi B took a stance, and like other celebs she turned down an offer to perform at The Super Bowl LIII halftime show alongside Maroon 5, Travis Scott, and Big Boi in support of Colin Kaepernick.

Cardi B may not be performing at The Super Bowl half time show, but she is making appearances at multiple clubs. Which leaves us saying what was the point of turning the offer down? Cardi is still making money off the event, and is Atlanta celebrating alongside the other Super Bowl spectators.

Cardi stars in a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial set to air Sunday night, so what was the point again of not performing? You still are bringing buzz to the event by doing the commercial, and events. I could care less if she did do it, so in my opinion she should’ve performed at the Super Bowl halftime show.

This is the statement “Bodak Yellow ” rapper issued:

“My husband, he loves football,” she said. “His kids play football. It’s really hard for him. … He really wants to go to the Super Bowl, but he can’t go to the Super Bowl, because he’s got to stand for something. You have to sacrifice that. I got to sacrifice a lot of money to perform. But there’s a man who sacrificed his job for us, so we got to stand behind him.”

Once Cardi B got word people had something to say about her doing all these events and etc she clapped back:

“I hear people saying like, ‘Oh, y’all are saying all this stuff about the Super Bowl, but you’re doing all these parties,’” she said. “And it’s like, well, if the NFL could benefit off from us, then I’m going to benefit off y’all. Y’all make the most money off our people. Why am I not going to take advantage of y’all and take money from y’all too? Because of y’all, we are getting these parties. OK, thank you.”
